I am a trial attorney who had been practicing law for ten years. Attorneys only hire the best when the things that matter the most in their own lives are threatened with harm. That is why I hired Christopher R. Largey of Largey Law when my family, children, and career were maliciously attacked and deceitfully threatened. Mr. Largey is respected by our judges, other attorneys, and the community at large, and as a result he is routinely hired by lawyers who need to be represented fully. He never backs down, he is never pushed, and he is compassionate. He absolutely understood the gravity of the family dynamic that he had to protect in my case. Whenever a lie was told, he would immediately and aggressively confront it head-on, exposing the same. His skillful use of courtroom practice and his knowledge of the evidence code brought the truth to light. The result was a resounding legal victory that protected my children, as well as the complete vindication of my character and my career. Though Chris is not even a family law lawyer, I knew he was the right attorney for this challenge. He stood there for me, and I will never regret hiring him for as long as I live.

Following my car accident I was referred by a friend to Largey Law Firm. Chris Largey agreed to take my case. He and Rosie along with his staff were very reassuring that they would take care if all my legal issues dealing with the insurance companies. He was not only concerned about my case but also about my physical condition. Chris referred me to health care workers that were a great asset to my healing process. Chris handled everything for me which allowed me to concentrate on healing. I would highly recommend the Largey Law Firm to anyone who needs someone to get justice for them.

Florida Highways Ranked Most Dangerous in the United States
- posted: Mar. 30, 2017
NBC Miami recently reported on a survey from EverQuote.com, the online auto insurance marketing service, which found highways in the Sunshine State to be among the most dangerous highways in the United States. EverQuote claims to have analyzed interstate fatalities using data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the years 2010 to 2015 as well as data from its own EverDrive phone app, which measures a driver’s phone use while driving by tracking phone motion in transit.
From NHTSA data, EverQuote observed that distracted driving fatalities had increased 8.8 percent in 2015, and that for the first half of 2016, traffic fatalities were up 10.4 percent compared to the first six months of 2015. From its own data, EverQuote concluded that:
- U.S. drivers are distracted on 31 percent of all drives.
- Eleven percent of drives have a distraction of one minute or longer.
- Twenty-nine percent of distractions occur at speeds in excess of 56 miles per hour.
In citing the nation’s most dangerous Interstates, EverQuote found certain commonalities:
- High traffic volume
- Risky driving habits
- Lack of distracted driving legislation
All of these are on display on Florida’s most dangerous roads:
“Three of the most dangerous interstate highways run through the state of Florida (I-4, I-95, I-10). Our EverDrive data found that Florida drivers use their phone on average 1.4 phone uses per trip and the state ranks 2nd worst nationally for phone use while driving. In Florida, the distracted driving law is only a secondary offense so drivers cannot be pulled over unless another violation is committed.”
The EverQuote survey strongly suggests that if Florida wants to reduce fatal car accidents on its major highways, the state will have to get serious about expanding its distracted driving laws. If you have been seriously injured by a distracted driver, trust Largey Law to fight aggressively for justice on your behalf.
